Nestled in the heart of this picturesque area, our room, though small, offered a cozy respite, and the stunning views from the terrace were a perfect backdrop for evening reflections over a glass of local malvazija. As a wildlife conservationist, the peaceful surroundings, with birdsong filling the air, reminded me of the harmony we strive for in nature. The highlight was undoubtedly the breakfast-a lavish buffet featuring fresh, high-quality options that catered beautifully to our group's diverse tastes, energizing us for our daily adventures exploring the region's rich history and exquisite truffle cuisine. And let me not forget the indoor pool-a refreshing oasis that we enjoyed all to ourselves after a sun-drenched day cycling along the Mirna River. The staff's warm hospitality added to the experience, providing insights not just about the hotel but the surrounding countryside. I left with a heart full of memories and a promise to return for a longer stay, perhaps during the truffle festival! An absolute gem for any traveler wanting a special Istrian experience.
